2016 was the year of the caterpillar.
2017 was the year of the cocoon.
2018 should naturally flow into what I believe to be the year of the butterfly.
I predict our metamorphosis will start to emerge this Spring - so although the calendar year has officially begun, we still have a chance to internally resolve any personal karmic issues in order to fully bloom into our vocalized Truth this year.
For myself, after so much internal work over the course of 2017 - I realized that by the end, if I didn't connect to independent peace and solace to wrap things up then regrets might set in; needless to say, it's not ideal to start a brand new calendar year off with regrets.
I booked at trip to the coast nearest to me - Charleston, SC. The ocean always brings me personal peace. I reflected on 2017, I rested, I explored and I visited Holy Cow Yoga Center on James Island - a place I hold dear to my heart because it's where I received a 200 hour Yoga certification during a 21-day immersive program in 2015. It was incredulous and this weekend getaway brought those magical memories back!
While in town, I set my 2018 intentions and stabilized them into my being with a New Year's Day vinyasa class. "Grounded Flow" is the title of my work for 2018. Although it was interesting to be by myself on New Year's Eve and a non-participate of any late night parties, I am so thankful that I had the guts to drive out of my normal surroundings in Atlanta and step into something fresh; something that gave me a blank canvas to truly hone in on - on what I do truly desire for the upcoming year ahead ... and beyond.
2018 is a new turned page for us all; when the sun came up on January 1st, I automatically felt a new light and a fresh breath of air. It's time for The Divine Feminine to make her presence reality. Full Moon vibes are setting the scene.
Looking forward; remaining present.
